Liverpool have revealed their away shirt for the new season and most people will agree Adidas have done a fantastic job. The idea to go with gold for the Adidas and Carlsberg logos on the front is a resounding success and goes beautifully against the black of the shirt. Any name and numbering is sure to stand out too with gold also being used.

The gold is reminiscent of that used for the European shirt following the Champions League win of 2005. Whilst all Liverpool fans would agree that shirt looked amazing, this works even better with gold on black. Will this be the shirt Liverpool wear as they clinch the 2009/10 Premier League title? There must be a good chance of it!
