Stoke City are giving a trial to Marseille striker Elliot Grandin that will commence from Monday next week (23rd). The former Caen striker will travel to England over the weekend reports France Football and arrive in Stoke on Sunday. Grandin does not feature in the plans of new Marseille coach Didier Deschamps and is free to leave the Ligue 1 club.

Grandin can also play as an attacking midfielder and at one stage was very highly rated. The France U21 player will be hoping a move to Stoke can get him back on the right track.
