Wolfsburg Eyeing Up Move for Juventus’ Tiago
Thursday, 26th November 2009
Wolfsburg have been linked with a move for Juventus midfielder Tiago in the January transfer window, speculation welcomed Ricardo Costa. The Portuguese defender played with Tiago at Porto and is clearly satisfied with the prospect of another link up in Germany.
Costa told Sky Sports, "Tiago is a very good player. It would be a great acquisition."
Tiago has struggled to establish himself since leaving Portugal in 2004, with spells at Chelsea, Lyon and now Juventus all proving to be something of a disappointment. The 26-year-old would no doubt welcome the prospect of regular first-team football with the Bundesliga champions.
