Agent: Bayern Munich Still in Pole Position for Ribery

Print for later?

Wednesday, 3rd February 2010

Despite many believing Bayern Munich’s Franck Ribery is all but certain to switch clubs in the summer, his agent, Alain Migliaccio, has made it clear the German giants, who his client his contracted to until 2011, are still in charge of where the influential attacker ends up.

Although Ribery’s decision depends largely on Bayern’s intention to build a team that will seriously compete in Europe,” Migliaccio told German daily Bild. “We must remember that Frank is under contract with Bayern until 2011, and as such Bayern holds the reins of the negotiations.”

Migliaccio claims a decision should be made regarding Ribery’s future in early March. The coveted French winger has been heavily tipped to join Real Madrid in the summer, with a host of various Premier League clubs tracking him as well.
