Daniel Agger: Liverpool Attitude is Correct
Tuesday, 9th February 2010
With the win over fierce city rivals Everton at the weekend, Liverpool have regained their place in the Premier League’s top four and are intending to continue their run of impressive results with a win over title hopefuls Arsenal in midweek. Defender Daniel Agger believes the recent derby win has revitalised the The Reds, but believes the team must not lose their focus.
“Everybody in the team has got the right attitude and we want to show that every time we go on the pitch. Now we want to get a good result at Arsenal,” Agger said to the club’s official website. "That is the most important thing. Arsenal are a good team but every week it is tough. We need to go with the same attitude we showed against Everton and see where it takes us."
Liverpool have won five of their last seven Premier League matches and have clawed their way back into the final Champions League qualifying spot. After a disappointing start to the season.
