Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he would like to finish his career in the United States, playing for an MLS side.

Ibrahimovic has been a sensation at AC Milan this season, following his move from an unsuccessful spell with La Liga giants Barcelona, but the 29-year-old is already thinking beyond the Rossoneri.

Asked about his future by Dutch magazine Voetbal International, Ibrahimovic replied: "Once my contract has expired with Milan, I would like to move to the United States. I’d like to play for a year or two in a beautiful city and then end my career."

The 29-year-old would appear to have a few more seasons left at the top of European football however, and he will be keen to prove to his doubters that he can make a real impact in the Champions League. The Swede missed out on winning the trophy with Inter through swapping the San Siro for the Camp Nou last season.
