Alberto Aquilani’s agent has rubbished suggestions in the Italian press that his client might yet return to Roma at the end of the season, joining the Giallorossi instead of completing a permanent move to Juventus.

The midfielder is on loan at Juventus from Liverpool and the Old Lady have the right to make the move a permanent one at the end of the season by sending €16.5M to Anfield.

"You must be joking, although I have to laugh", said Frank Zavala when asked about a possible switch to Roma for Aquilani.

"The idea of a return to Roma for Alberto is fantasy football. The truth is only one thing: Juventus have the opportunity to buy him by 30th June, 2011. Liverpool have set the price (€16.5M) and Juve do not have much choice, buy him or he goes back to England."

And Zavala also blasted: "I will not comment on other unsubstantiated rumours."
