Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent has quashed speculation that the Swedish striker could head to Real Madrid.

Los Blancos boss Jose Mourinho is known to be a big fan of the 30-year-old and it had been mooted that the Portuguese could recruit his former player, who he worked with at Inter, to help dethrone Barcelona in La Liga.

Ibrahimovic for his part had a disappointing single season with Barcelona, falling out with Josep Guardiola and the chance to really make his mark in Spain’s top flight could have been appealing.

But not so says Mino Raiola, who has ended the transfer talk.

"Ibra is happy at Milan", said Raiola.

"He has no desire to leave and is not negotiating with Real Madrid.

"I don’t know whether he will end his career at Milan, but he certainly will respect his contract and will play for Milan for the next two seasons.

"I don’t know what will happen next, but he’s not going to Real Madrid."
