Greek powerhouse Sotirios Kyrgiakos looks set to be on the move once again in January.

The 32-year-old centre back joined Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in the summer, switching from English giants Liverpool.

But Kyrgiakos has struggled to win over manager Felix Magath and, having been little used so far this season, is believed to have been informed that he can leave the Volkswagen Arena.

The tough-tackling centre back is expected to be a target for clubs in his native Greece, while his solid performances for Liverpool may pique the interest of a number of English sides.

The former Panathinaikos star became something of a cult hero at Anfield and was one of the few players to emerge from the Roy Hodgson era with any credit.

Krygiakos won 61 caps for Greece between 2002 and 2010, scoring four goals in the process.
