Fulham look set to revive their interest in French striker Andre-Pierre Gignac in the January transfer window.

Gignac came close to moving to Craven Cottage on transfer deadline day in the summer, with the 25-year-old even flying to London, agreeing terms with Fulham and standing by to sign a loan deal.

But Gignac’s club side, Marseille, called off the agreement when Juventus striker Amauri U-turned on a switch to the Stade Velodrome at the last minute.

Gignac though remains keen to leave Marseille, where he has not seen eye to eye with coach Didier Deschamps.

And Fulham coach Martin Jol has continued to keep the striker in mind.

Now the English Premier League outfit look set to make another attempt for Gignac in January, trying to take the forward on loan until the end of the season.
