Sochaux playmaker Ryad Boudebouz has put interested parties on alert by admitted that he wants to leave Sochaux.

The 21-year-old pass-master is known to have been scouted by English Premier League duo Liverpool and Newcastle, while within France big spending Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon have been linked with a move.

And for Boudebouz next summer will be the time to leave Sochaux, though he has raised some eyebrows by admitting that remaining in Ligue 1 would be his first choice at present.

"I want to become a better player, so I want to leave Sochaux one day", said the Algerian star.

"When? At the end of the season I will ask to leave.

"I would like to remain in France, but we’ll see what happens in June."

Boudebouz’ words will be sure to have been noted by those clubs keen on securing his services.

The 21-year-old revealed in November he was well aware of significant interest, with the fact that Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli had spoken to Sochaux’s president having been noted by the midfielder.
