Manchester City are interested in Paris Saint-Germain defender Milan Bisevac and could be aided in their pursuit of the Serbian by Carlo Ancelotti’s transfer policy.

Ancelotti is currently in the process of pushing through a deal for Chelsea centre back Alex, a move which may cause Bisevac to become more open to the possibility of switching to Eastlands.

The 28-year-old is thought to have been aware of the Citizens’ interest for some time, but has thus far indicated that he wishes to remain at the Parc des Princes.

The arrival of Alex however, who would expect to slot in as a regular in Ancelotti’s PSG backline, could lead to Bisevac cutting short his spell in the French capital.

Manchester City are thought to want the 28-year-old on a loan deal until the end of the season, with an option to make that move permanent if Bisevac impresses.

The player himself though is known to be concerned over the amount of playing time he would receive in England.

Therefore Bisevac, who only joined PSG last summer from Valenciennes and is under contract until 2014 in Paris, may soon have a judgement to make over whether he will see more time on the pitch under Ancelotti or Roberto Mancini.
