In-demand midfielder Yann M’Vila has admitted that playing for Real Madrid would be sensational for his career, but conceded if a French boss, like Arsene Wenger, made an approach, the jury would be out on his future.

M’Vila is expected to leave Rennes at the end of the current campaign and the race for his signature is hotting up, with Arsenal, Inter and Real Madrid thought to be the front-runners.

And the France international will have the chance to skyrocket his stock still further at Euro 2012 as Laurent Blanc’s Les Bleus aim for continental glory.

A move though, despite work to be done with Rennes and France, has been considered and pondered by the 21-year-old.

"Inter, Arsenal, Real Madrid, it would be great at all of those sides", M’Vila told Canal+.

"These are great clubs. If a coach calls you and tells you he wants you, and if he’s a French coach, that changes everything", added the defensive midfielder, in a clear hint to Gunners manager Arsene Wenger.

Asked though what he would do if Jose Mourinho was the voice on the phone instead, M’Vila joked: "He does not even have my phone number!

"But playing at Real would be an absolute blast. It would be amazing to play with Kaka and [Karim] Benzema."

The fight for M’Vila is set to be fierce and Rennes are confident of securing a substantial fee for a player considered to be one of the finest midfielders in Ligue 1.

M’Vila has appeared in 18 Ligue 1 games so far this season.
