Germany international striker Miroslav Klose has declared his happiness at Lazio and insisted he sees his future at the Rome-based giants.

Lazio are currently chasing a spot in next season’s Champions League through Serie A and received a big boost yesterday by beating fellow contenders Napoli 3-1.

And though Klose did not score in the match, he has still been a resounding success in Italy this season.

"My family and I are very happy in Rome", said the German.

"The capital is a fascinating city and moving here was the right decision, from all aspects.

"Everything is going well and I hope that this will continue over the next few months and then years."

Klose has found the back of the net 13 times in Serie A this season, a strike rate of one goal every two games in the Italian top flight.
