Juventus are ready to raid Villarreal for midfielder Borja Valero.
The Yellow Submarine were relegated from La Liga this season and the Spanish star is expected to seek pastures new in the summer.
Valero has been linked with a number of clubs including Real Madrid, Napoli and Fiorentina; however Juventus are thought to be in pole position to secure his signature.
The 27-year-old was one of Villarreal’s more impressive performers in La Liga this season, despite the side’s eventual relegation.
He clocked up 36 appearances for the Yellow Submarine in the league, while also appearing in the Champions League earlier in the campaign.
Valero has a contract running until 2015 with the now-Segunda Division outfit.
