There will be more news on the future of in-demand Napoli striker Edinson Cavani next week, his agent has claimed.
Cavani has been linked with some of the biggest clubs across Europe, including Chelsea, Manchester City, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
And while Napoli will not stand in the player’s way if a large offer arrives, the Azzurri would prefer the Uruguayan to stay put and fire their Serie A push next season.
Whether that will happen however, is still shrouded in secrecy.
"Next week we can be absolutely accurate about the future of Cavani", said the player’s representative Claudio Anellucci.
"We’ve started reviewing the situation and we’ll talk.
"Until we have received some new offers then we can’t say anything about it."
