Danish defender Simon Kjaer has blasted Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath and insisted he will not play for the former Bayern Munich boss again.

Kjaer was loaned out to Roma for the 2011/12 season and, even though he is under contract with Wolfsburg until 2014, does not want to turn out for the Wolves while Magath sits in the dugout.

"I won’t call Mr Magath", said the Denmark international to Kicker.

"And it is clear that I will stay away from Wolfsburg and not play for him again", he added.

Where Kjaer’s future might lie is unclear and the player well admits he has "no idea" how much progress has been made between Roma and Wolfsburg with a view to turning his loan into a permanent deal.

Wolfsburg had agreed a purchase option of €7M for the defender as part of his loan agreement with Roma, but the Giallorossi have balked at paying that sum.
