French midfielder Yoann Gourcuff could bring his stay at Lyon to an end this summer if any interested club is willing to pay €13M for his services.

Sources in France have hinted that Les Gones are ready to cash in on Gourcuff as they look to compensate for the loss of Champions League football for 2012/13 – and €13M is the figure demanded.

Even before the club’s absence from Europe’s showpiece competition was known, Lyon were looking at a budget shortfall which suggested the sales of up to two players to balance the books.

Gourcuff is one player who could be allowed to leave for the right price, alongside Michel Bastos and Dejan Lovren; Aly Cissokho will also be sold if any side are willing to pay €11M.

Just 12 months ago Gourcuff was rated as one of the most talented attacking midfielders in European football, but a season of poor performances at the Stade Gerland have reduced his stock considerably.

The 25-year-old’s value will be at its peak this summer as his contract with Lyon expires in 2014; he played just 13 times in Ligue 1 last season.
