Aleksandar Kolarov has been the subject of interest from a number of teams of late, and according to a well-connected Italian agent, Manchester City have indeed received offers for the left-back.

AC Milan and Inter Milan are two of the sides who have shown great interest in the Manchester City defender. And it seems that both San Siro clubs are in the market for a left-back, with the 26-year-old their number one target.

The future of Kolarov at the reigning Premier League champions is in doubt after Gael Clichy established himself as the best left-back at Eastlands last season.

And Roberto Mancini’s agent Giorgio De Giorgis has confirmed the interest of a whole host of clubs in the Serbian.

“Kolarov is a great player and it does not come as a surprise that a number of teams are interested in him considering the fact that there are not many great left-backs around right now”, said the Italian fixer.

The agent also added that the Citizens have received offers for the player and are weighing up their options at present.

“To be honest, I am not sure whether Manchester City are ready to sell him or not”, Giorgio di Giorgis told IlSussidiario. “The club has received some proposals for him and the management are considering them at the moment.”

Kolarov joined Manchester City in 2010 from Lazio and has made 36 appearances in the Premier League for the club in his two seasons with the Citizens.
