A whole host of clubs are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman, according to his agent.

The Holland international was in impressive form for PSV last season and even booked a spot at Euro 2012 with the Oranje, although the 22-year-old did not make a single appearances in the tournament.

Strootman is still very much an integral part of Holland’s future however and new coach Louis van Gaal will count on the former Utrecht man as the country make their push for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

It is little surprise then that Strootman has been linked with a move away from the Philips Stadion this summer and La Liga giants Valencia have been leading the chase for his signature.

"It is true that Valencia asked about Kevin", Strootman’s agent Chiel Dekker revealed.

"But they are not the only club that has been in touch with us", he added.

"There are many clubs that are interested in him."

The Dutchman only joined PSV last summer, signing for the Eindhoven-based outfit as part of a €13M double-deal which included Dries Mertens.

He is under contract at the Philips Stadion until 2016.
