AC Milan are planning to splash the cash in an effort to compensate for the looming loss of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva, with Manchester City pair Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko on their hitlist.

The Rossoneri are set to receive around €65M from Paris Saint-Germain for Brazilian defender Thiago Silva and Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic after Milan president Silvio Berlusoni admitted that he has agreed to part with the pair.

Once the duo have landed at the Parc des Princes, the pressure will be on Milan to provide big-name replacements to quell the growing anger of the club’s faithful.

A rekindling of interest in Tevez should come as no surprise, especially given the Rossoneri’s attempts to sign the Argentine in the January transfer window.

Milan will now be confident that, armed with money from the sale of Silva and Ibrahimovic, an agreement can be found for the Manchester City man.

But Tevez is not the only Citizens striker on the list, with Dzeko also a popular option at Milanello.

The former Wolfsburg man slipped down the pecking order at Eastlands during the second half of last season and, with Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli having appeared in fine form, his prospects for securing a regular starting spot have faded.

Dzeko has long been highly rated amongst Serie A’s giants and Juventus also have an interest in the Bosnian.
