Roma have snapped up American midfielder Michael Bradley from fellow Serie A side Chievo Verona.

Bradley has signed a four-year contract with the Giallorossi after they opted to pay Chievo around €3M plus Romanian midfielder Adrian Stoian to secure his services.

The 24-year-old started his career in the MLS at New York MetroStars before making the leap into European football at Dutch outfit Heerenveen.

From there Bradley dipped his toe into the Bundesliga, signing for Borussia Monchengladbach.

He enjoyed a loan spell in England with Aston Villa in 2011 before transferring permanently to Chievo last summer.

The American made 31 appearances in Serie A for Chievo last season and his impressive form soon earned admirers elsewhere in the league.

Bradley will now attempt to establish himself at Roma.
