Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has stamped on speculation that the French giants are lining up a bid for Chelsea defender Ashley Cole.

Indeed, the former Blues boss has even gone a step further, declaring that PSG’s business for the summer transfer window is now at an end.

The Parc des Prince giants notably hoovered up both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva from AC Milan recently and Ancelotti’s men are firm favourites to claim the 2012/13 Ligue 1 title Montpellier won last season.

There has been speculation in England that the Italian wants to sign Cole from Chelsea – but he insists this is not the case and dismissed the reports.

"The transfer window is over for us", said Ancelotti at a press conference.

"The club has done a fantastic job with the arrival of great players.

"All the rumours in the English press are false."

Ancelotti is set to put his new-look side through their paces later today when Barcelona visit the Parc des Princes for a high-profile friendly clash.
