AC Milan coach Massimilano Allegri has refused to be drawn into a war of words with the club’s former striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swedish hitman exited the Rossoneri this summer, along with Brazilian defender Thiago Silva, and moved to join Paris Saint-Germain.

No sooner had Ibrahimovic landed at the Parc des Princes, than he was soon declaring that the French outfit are now stronger than Milan, on account of having acquired the Italian side’s two best players.

Allegri is not playing the game of making a statement over whether he disagrees with his former striker however, instead insisting the statement was typical Ibrahimovic.

"Ibra said that PSG are stronger? I prefer to ignore it", said Allegri.

"He has always felt that he is the best. This is also what gives him his strength."

Milan have yet to properly replace Ibrahimovic and Silva this summer, though speculation is swirling over who will arrive to bolster the Serie A giants.
