FC Porto president Pinto da Costa has insisted that there has been no movement towards a sale being agreed for Brazilian striker Hulk and appears to be growing increasingly confident that the 26-year-old will spend the season at the Estadio do Dragao.

Hulk has been continuously linked with Champions League winners Chelsea throughout the summer and has admitted he would relish the opportunity to play at Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian has also been mooted as a target for Anzhi Makhachkala, Paris Saint-Germain and, most recently, Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg, who were speculated to be making an offer of around €50M for the hitman.

But Da Costa has dismissed this and stressed that, while he has bumped into Zenit officials from time to time, it has not been to talk about Hulk.

In fact, the Porto supremo is very hopeful that Hulk will be remaining at the club for the 2012/13 campaign.

"Hulk, like any other player, has a termination clause. If someone wants or needs him to join them, they can just pay it", said Da Costa.

"With Zenit, I’ve spoken to them many times, but by chance and not to deal over Hulk", he added.

"Hulk will go if it is in the interests of FC Porto and Hulk. So far, there has not been any movement which would lead us to this point.

"We hope that for the coming year he continues to be our player."
