John Guidetti’s agent Per Jonsson has claimed that a move to Feyenoord is still possible for the Manchester City man, but has also stated that the player still has a number of options open to him.

The Sweden international, who joined the Citizens in 2008 from Brommapojkarna, was a revelation for Feyenoord last season, scoring 20 goals in 23 Eredivisie appearances during his loan spell.

The Dutch side have been pushing for another loan deal for the youngster this summer as money is tight at De Kuip. Feyenoord are also well aware that several other clubs want Guidetti.

According to the 20-year-old’s agent, the striker is open to returning to the Dutch club, but with other parties interested, has not reached a decision just yet about his future for the upcoming campaign.

“He liked his stay at Feyenoord and enjoyed putting in strong performances for them", commented Jonsson to Voetbal International.

"Joining them again is definitely an option, but there are more possibilities”, he added.

And Jonsson also insisted there is no hurry to finalise his client’s future yet.

“We are going to explore all options without rushing and we will surely come to a decision before the transfer window ends at the end of the month.

"We will soon conduct talks with Manchester City and see what is best for John.”

Guidetti is still recovering from nerve inflammation and has time to ponder his next move.

The Sweden star has also been linked with Italian giants Lazio and Istanbul powerhouses Galatasaray.
