Juventus are ready to accept an offer of €3M from English Premier League outfit Stoke City for Swiss full-back Reto Ziegler, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

The Potters are keen to take Ziegler to the Britannia Stadium and are ready to pay €3M to make the deal happen; an amount the Bianconeri have indicated they would be happy to give the green light to.

Ziegler spent last season on loan at Turkish giants Fenerbahce and enjoyed regular first team football with the Yellow Canaries in Istanbul.

In the 26-year-old’s absence Juventus won the Italian title and it seems Ziegler could be surplus to requirements in Turin.

The left back, who can also operate as a left winger if needed, has prior experience of English football.

Ziegler left Switzerland in 2004, moving from Grasshopper Zurich to Tottenham Hotspur.

He struggled to establish himself at White Hart Lane however and, after a series of loan moves, finally left on a permanent basis in 2007 to sign for Sampdoria.
