Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow have emerged as the latest possible destination for Lyon full-back Michel Bastos.
The Brazilian has been consistently linked with an exit from the Stade Gerland this summer as Les Gones look to cut costs, with the financing of a new stadium eating up resources.
Bastos has been close to joining Middle Eastern outfit Al-Ain, but no deal has gone through and the jury is out on whether the 29-year-old will move to the Gulf.
He could instead end up in Russia.
Spartak Moscow are thought to have made a proposal for the Brazilian and are keen to take him to the Russian capital.
It remains to be seen however whether Bastos would be prepared to join the Red-Whites.
