Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has warned three players who are likely to be surplus to requirements this season that it would be better if they moved on.

The Blaugrana boss appears to have no place in his plans for defender Andreu Fontas and midfielders Jonathan dos Santos and Ibrahim Afellay.

Dos Santos is expected to soon join Sevilla, but the positions of Fontas and Afellay are less clear.

Afellay has a whole host of offers on the table and has been warming to accepting one of them in recent days, though his priority remains to stay at Barcelona if at all possible.

Now Vilanova has fired a clear warning to the trio, by insisting that Barcelona "is not a social club".

"There are three players that could go out and the possibility that they will go out, but some could stay", said the new Blaugrana coach.

"This is not a social club", he added.

Vilanova has recently brought defensive midfielder Alex Song to the Camp Nou from Arsenal and looks to have shaped the squad with which he will battle Real Madrid this season.
