Genoa have signed former striker Marco Borriello from Roma for an undisclosed fee.

Borriello turned out for Genoa between 2007 and 2008, quickly establishing himself as a fan favourite, before leaving to join AC Milan.

The Italy international was then loaned by Milan to Roma for the 2010/11 campaign, before the move was made permanent.

The 30-year-old scored 19 goals in 35 games during his first spell with Genoa and will hope to repeat the trick this time around.

Borriello has won seven caps for Italy.
