Jose Mourinho is confident that Cristiano Ronaldo’s issues at Real Madrid can be solved, according to Spanish daily Marca.

Ronaldo did not celebrate the goals he scored against Granada last weekend and spoke of feeling "sad" at Real Madrid when asked why.

He later claimed that "the club know why" in reference to a disagreement with Los Blancos, while there were also further suggestions that he does not feel properly valued by the Spanish champions.

Ronaldo’s unhappiness has concerned Mourinho, who now, with his increased responsibilities as manager, has set out to solve the issue.

And the Portuguese boss believes that the differences between club and player are able to be bridged.

Mourinho is also thankful for the fact the international break arrived at just the right time, as he is concerned at how Ronaldo might have been received by the Bernabeu crowd if this was not the case.

Now the former Chelsea manager believes that scoring goals in a Real Madrid shirt will quickly help the club’s fans to forget Ronaldo’s problems with Los Blancos.
