Barcelona Make Unusual Turkish Airlines Request

Barcelona submitted a very strange request to their official carrier Turkish Airlines recently.

The Catalan giants have asked that in future, for all their flights with Turkish Airlines, an official sponsor, the cabin crew is made up exclusively of women.

According to the Spanish side’s request, male air stewards have pestered Barcelona players for autographs, signed shirts and photos, which has not allowed the players to relax on the flight.



And Barcelona believe this will be improved by an all-female cabin crew.

Turkish Airlines, who signed a sponsorship deal worth €7.5M with the Camp Nou giants in 2010, has already responded to Barcelona’s request.

The airline has promised that for the club’s next flight, they will choose carefully from their best stewardesses to ensure all runs smoothly.
