Thierry Henry has continued his superb form for New York Red Bulls in the MLS.

The former Barcelona striker scored and provided three assists in the Red Bulls’ 4-1 victory over Toronto FC last night.

relatedNewsStory It was a feat which now takes Henry’s record this season with the Red Bulls to 14 goals and 12 assists in just 21 league games.


New York currently sit second in the Eastern Conference, five points behind leaders Kansas City.

While Henry has helped the club’s attack, the side’s defence is still causing some concern.

New York have scored 54 goals from their 31 league fixtures so far, but have let in 44, a figure worse even than second bottom side New England Revolution.


In the Western Conference, San Jose Earthquake top the pile, followed by Real Salt Lake and Seattle Sounders.

David Beckham’s Los Angeles Galaxy sit in fourth spot.
