Anzhi Makhachakala hold an interest in Real Madrid midfielder Kaka, according to Russian agent Shumi Babaev.

Kaka is out of favour at the Bernabeu and looks likely to head for the exit door when the January transfer window swings open.

relatedNewsStory The Brazilian is behind both Mesut Ozil and Luka Modric in the pecking order at Real Madrid, and was strongly linked with AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray in the summer transfer window.

Milan and Galatasaray are expected to revive their interest in January, with the latter having already admitted that an approach will be made if the side can make the knockout phase of the Champions League.

However, neither have the funds to match Anzhi Makhachkala, who could offer Kaka a lucrative contract to head to Russia.

And agent Babaev has admitted that a move for the 30-year-old is under consideration in Dagestan.

"Anzhi are thinking long and hard about signing Kaka", Babaev told Russian daily Izvestia.

"However, he is not the type of player who can be bought easily", he added.

"We can only speak about it accurately when the transfer market opens."

Kaka has not made a single starting appearance in La Liga for Real Madrid this season. He is under contract at the Bernabeu until 2015.
