Thiago Silva’s agent has floated the possibility of his client one day returning to AC Milan.

The accomplished Brazilian defender was sold by the Rossoneri to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer when the wealthy French side came calling with an offer that was too good for Milan president Silvio Berlusconi to resist.

relatedNewsStory Silva’s sale was hugely unpopular with Milan fans, especially given that the defender did not push for the move.

And also because he had been regularly compared by the club’s faithful to the legendary Franco Baresi.

But Silva’s story at Milan may not have seen its last chapter written, according to the player’s agent Paulo Tonietto.

“Milan needed to sell and it was time for a change”, Tonietto told Tutto Mercato.

“I am sure Milan will recover because they are a strong club.

“Who knows if one day Thiago will return? In life, everything is possible.”

But, at present, Silva’s agent stressed his client is happy at PSG.

“For now he is happy in Paris and with PSG.”
