Juventus are still keeping tabs on Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.

The Bosnian has long been a target for the Bianconeri, with the Italian giants firm fans of the forward when he played for German side Wolfsburg.

relatedNewsStory Dzeko joined Manchester City from the Wolves in the 2011 January transfer window, effectively ending Juventus’ hopes of tempting him to Italy.

However, the Serie A champions have continued to keep a close watch on the 26-year-old’s situation in Manchester and, whenever a striking option is needed in Turin, Dzeko is regularly mooted as a target.

And, on Wednesday evening, as the Citizens met Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, a Juventus representative was in the crowd.

Present at the Etihad Stadium was none other than Juventus’ general manager Giuseppe Marotta’s right hand man Fabio Paratici.

Dzeko remains on Juventus’ radar, although an imminent swoop appears unlikely.

The Italian champions have also been linked with Dortmund duo Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski.

Juventus meanwhile drew their Champions League game this week, taking a point from a meeting with Shakhtar Donetsk via a 1-1 result in Turin.
