The agent of PSV Eindhoven striker Jeremain Lens claims that he has heard nothing from either Juventus or Liverpool, despite both clubs being heavily linked with launching a bid for his client.

Furthermore, Lens’ representative stressed that the 24-year-old will not be looking for the exit door in the January transfer window, but did add a caveat.

Lens, who can also operate out wide in addition to through the middle, has been in superb form for Dick Advocaat’s men so far this season, scoring three goals in the Eredivisie and creating another six.

He has also made his mark at international level with the Oranje, scoring three and creating three in three 2014 World Cup qualifiers; Lens overall record with Holland is four goals from his eight caps.

It is little surprise that clubs which need to add a further cutting edge to their attack, namely Juventus and Liverpool, have glanced in his direction and PSV are thought braced for expressions of interest in their talented forward.

However, unless the Eindhoven side do want to cash in, they have nothing to fear, according to Lens’ agent Kees Ploegsma.

relatedNewsStory"Are Juventus and Liverpool interested in Lens? I have had absolutely no contact with these clubs, but I can’t say whether they have spoken directly with PSV.

"Lens has a three-year contract with PSV and I don’t think it is his intention to leave in January, but in football anything can happen."

And the Dutchman is not yet planning his exit, although Ploegsma insists decisions will need to be made in June.

"At this time, Jeremain is 100 per cent a PSV player, the club that he will also spend the second half of the season at.

"Then we can talk further in June."
