Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic admits he is flattered to see his name linked with other clubs, amidst talk of continuing interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Pjanic’s agent confirmed in August that Spurs had made a move for his client, but revealed Roma rebuffed the English club’s enquiry.

However, Pjanic is struggling to cement a spot in Zdenek Zeman’s side at the Giallorossi this season and there has been fresh speculation over Spurs reviving their interest in the Bosnian schemer in time for the January transfer window, while the midfielder is also attracting attention from elsewhere.

News of interest in his services has reached the 22-year-old who, while stressing he must currently focus on the task at hand, did admit to being flattered at being on the shopping list of other elite sides.

"I have to admit, it is nice when your name gets linked with big clubs in Europe", Pjanic told SportSport.

"At the moment, I do not want to think about possible future destinations.

Pjanic was snapped up by the Giallorossi in 2011, arriving from French giants Lyon for a fee of €11M.

He is under contract in the Italian capital until 2015.
