Thierry Henry has been training with Arsenal, the club’s striker Olivier Giroud has revealed.

Henry took in his old club’s 5-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby on Saturday and has been involved once again with Arsene Wenger’s side.

With the MLS season over for Henry’s New York Red Bulls, the Frenchman could be set to reprise the loan stint he enjoyed with the Gunners last season, continuing the enduring love affair he has with the club.

"Henry has been training with the group", Giroud told RTL.

"But he told me he does not know if he will have a partnership with us again this winter."

Henry played seven games for the Gunners last season in a loan spell, scoring two goals in the process and still looking a dangerous striking option even at the age of 35.

He is considered a legend at the Emirates Stadium due to his spell at the club between 1999 and 2007.

It remains to be seen whether the Frenchman will once again head back to the club on loan.

However, Wenger would surely be delighted to have Henry at his disposal, even for a short time.
