Stuttgart star Zdravko Kuzmanovic has told the club he will be leaving in the summer.

The 25-year-old has grown frustrated with his situation at the Bundesliga side and wants first team football, which he does not believe will be forthcoming at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Now the Serbian, who was snapped up by Stuttgart from Fiorentina in 2009 for a fee of €8M, has had enough and wants out.

Kuzmanovic was in action against Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League last night, a game Stuttgart won 5-1.

"As my situation has not changed I’ll be off in the summer", the Serbian told German daily Bild after the match.

And Kuzmanovic also expressed bemusement at why he has been used so little this season.

"I have never doubted my quality."

The 25-year-old, who was born in Switzerland but represents Serbia at international level, has started just two Bundesliga games this season, appearing in a further four from the bench.

His contract with Stuttgart expires next summer and the German outfit may well try to sell Kuzmanovic in the January transfer window.

Kuzmanovic has won 46 caps at international level with Serbia.
