Peru international striker Jefferson Farfan will only leave current club Schalke to join one of the biggest sides in European football, according to Peruvian daily Depor.

Quoting a source close to the player, Farfan was confirmed as having attracted serious interest from Italian champions Juventus during the summer, though he eventually stayed put at the Ruhr giants.

And the speedy forward is happy turning out for Huub Stevens’ Bundesliga side, though he would be willing to leave Gelsenkirchen for clubs he considers the biggest in the game, to pursue his dream of winning the Champions League.

"Earlier in the close season there was Juventus, but no agreement was reached", a source close to Farfan told Depor.

"Jefferson is content at the club and it will take an offer from a big club in Europe for him to leave."

And the source was in no doubt which clubs Farfan would be eyeing a switch to if offered the chance.

"He told me he wants to play at Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United and AC Milan.
