Nancy midfielder Lossemy Karaboue has attracted interest from England and could well be the subject of bids in next month’s transfer window.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Karaboue is wanted by both Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Reading.

The 24-year-old has been in good form for Nancy so far this season, appearing in all 19 of the side’s Ligue 1 games during the current campaign to date.

This has been no easy task for Karaboue, given that Jean Fernandez’s men are having a season to forget and sit rock bottom of the French top flight.

Karaboue, a product of Lyon’s youth set-up, joined Nancy in 2011 from Sedan, where he began his senior professional career.

The midfielder would undoubtedly jump at the chance to make a move to the Premier League, especially given that Nancy look to be heading down to Ligue 2.

He is under contract at the Stade Marcel Picot until 2015.
