Aston Villa hold an interest in Inter midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to Calcio Mercato, but it will take at least €10M to buy the Brazilian.

The naturally talented Coutinho has struggled for playing time at the San Siro this season and Inter do appear willing to let him go for the right price.

So far this season the 20-year-old has started just three games in Serie A, though he has been brought on in a further seven.

Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni does rate the attacking midfielder and sending him out on loan, as happened last season, with the Brazilian joining Spanish side Espanyol for the second half of the campaign, looks unlikely.

Coutinho impressed in Spain and could be a useful option for Stramaccioni to have around in 2013.

But were Aston Villa to put cold hard cash on the table, the situation might change.

Coutinho joined Inter in the summer of 2010 and arrived tipped for big things. His contract at Inter runs until 2015.
