QPR could offer Alou Diarra the chance to move across London this month.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Harry Redknapp’s men are keen on Diarra, who has barely featured in the Premier League for current club West Ham this season.

The 31-year-old joined the Hammers in the summer, signing from French outfit Marseille and penning a three-year deal at Upton Park.

But convincing manager Sam Allardyce that he is worthy of a regular starting spot with West Ham has proven to be a difficult task.

Diarra could though jump ship and sign for QPR, where Redknapp is looking to bolster his squad in the fight against relegation.

The former Spurs manager needs to strengthen the defensive aspect of his side and the tough-tackling midfielder, who has won 44 caps for France, may fit the bill.

Diarra’s first spell in English football came in 2002, when he was snapped up by Liverpool from Bayern Munich.
