The agent of Hungary winger Balazs Dzsudzsak has stamped on talk of his client joining English Premier League giants Liverpool, calling it "harmful".

Dzsudzsak currently turns out in the Russian Premier League with Dynamo Moscow, but he has recently been mooted as a transfer target for Liverpool, with suggestions a deal could be done.

The player and his representative have heard the transfer chatter and now Dzsudzsak’s agent has come out to dismiss the speculation.

"We have also heard the rumours, but we could not find where they came from", Jozsef Vorosbaranyi was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur.

"Balazs Dzsudzsak is a Dynamo Moscow player and we deny the rumours of a departure.

"These rumours can be harmful."

The former PSV Eindhoven winger first headed to Russia to join big spending Anzhi Makhachkala in 2011 and was then snapped up by Dynamo Moscow.

He has admitted finding it somewhat difficult to settle in Russia, but the 26-year-old would be an expensive option for any side, with Dynamo Moscow having paid his €19M release clause to secure him from Anzhi Makhachkala in January 2012.
