AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy has been the subject of a €30M bid.

According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, fellow Serie A side Napoli slapped in the offer, hoping to take the 20-year-old talent to the San Paolo.

But, unsurprisingly, AC Milan rejected Napoli’s offer, with El Shaarawy having become the focal point of their attack.

Despite his tender years, El Shaarawy has stepped up to the plate for Milan this season and slipped into Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s shoes.

The young striker has scored 15 goals in 22 Serie A matches so far and been the bright light in an otherwise forgettable Rossoneri campaign.

At Napoli, El Shaarawy could have formed a fearsome partnership with Edinson Cavani, as the Azzurri hunt for the Serie A title.

But Milan are desperate not to lose the player, despite their focus on cutting costs and raising money in the transfer market over the last six months.
