Andrei Arshavin could move to QPR today, with Harry Redknapp’s men emerging as a genuine option for the out-of-favour Arsenal schemer.

The Russian’s contract with Arsene Wenger’s men expires at the end of the current season and he has struggled for playing time at the Emirates Stadium this season.

According to Russian daily Izvestia, Arshavin has an offer on the table from QPR and is considering whether to head to Loftus Road.

QPR are busily bringing in new faces to help in the side’s battle against relegation from the Premier League.

While Arshavin’s wages may be a concern for QPR, it is believed the forward could agree a deal based on the number of games played.

Arsenal are keen to realise some sort of fee for Arshavin before his contract expires and will open the door for him to leave.

Now the 31-year-old must consider whether to join Harry Redknapp’s men or sit out his contract at Arsenal and move for free in the summer.
