Moussa Sissoko feels that his qualities can come to the fore even more at Newcastle United than they did at former club Toulouse.

The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Magpies in the winter transfer window, completing a switch from Toulouse, at who he only had six months left to run on his contract.

Snapping up the highly-rated midfielder is considered a real coup for Newcastle and Sissoko enjoyed a fine debut against Aston Villa, while he bagged two goals in the club’s 3-2 win over Chelsea at the weekend.

For the Frenchman, Alan Pardew’s team suits him perfectly.

And he explained, the Magpies are a more attacking outfit than Toulouse.

"Toulouse are a good team with quality players, but offensively there were some difficulties, even if this season was better than the previous one", he told French sports daily L’Equipe.

"At Newcastle, the game is really more focused towards going forward.

"It is more consistent with my qualities. I can express myself better."

Sissoko will be hoping to continue his fine performances for Newcastle and help the side to banish any lingering fears of relegation this season.

The 23-year-old has been called up for France’s international friendly against Germany tomorrow evening.
