Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has indicated that he will consider his future at the English giants either this June or the following June.

Suarez showed his commitment to Liverpool earlier this season when he put pen to paper on a contract running until 2018 and the Uruguayan has consistently indicated that he feels happy on Merseyside.

And while there is no suggestion that he wants to leave Liverpool, he has hinted that he is looking for the side to make consistent progression as they seek to return to the Champions League and ultimately challenge for silverware.

Asked about his future by Spanish daily Marca, and whether the question would be better being asked in June, Suarez replied: "Yes, this June or the next one, in 2014.

"My contract ends in 2018.

"My family is very happy here and I’m living a dream: playing for a club that every kid wants to play for.

"So we’re content, for now."

Suarez has been a real talisman for Liverpool this season, firing in 17 goals in the Premier League so far.

Despite his heroics though, the Reds still look to have a tough task on their hands qualifying for next season’s Champions League, the competition where Suarez, as one of the best players in the world, will surely feel he belongs.

Liverpool are nine points off a top four spot in the English top flight, with 13 games left to go.
