We Don’t Know If Neymar Will Come – Barcelona Star Pedro In Dark On Potential Arrival of Brazilian

Thursday, 14th February, 2013

Barcelona star Pedro Rodriguez has admitted he does not know whether Neymar will be arriving at the Camp Nou.

The 20-year-old has been strongly linked with heading for the Catalan giants, with some suggestions he may even make the switch in the summer, while an agreement has been speculated as already being in place.

But, if Neymar has already agreed to join Barcelona, Pedro does not know about it, with the Spaniard insisting he is firmly in the dark.

"We know that he is one of the best in the world, but we still do not know if he will join us or not", the forward told Catalan daily Sport.

However, Pedro can see a possible negative effect if Neymar arrives, from his own perspective.

"But, if he comes, it will be more difficult to play because he is one of the best in his position, so the competition will be very strong."

Neymar has repeatedly said that he will see out his contract at Santos, which runs until 2014.

It remains to be seen whether the Brazilian will be persuaded to leave his homeland and head to Europe before Brazil hosts the 2014 World Cup.
